5SOS Preference #87 - You fight and he scares your child [Lashton/4]

Luke:

Lately, Luke has been more stressed out lately with the new album coming out, late night recording sessions and tours coming up soon so he decided to take it all out on you.

Every night when he came home, he would find a way to yell at you whether it’s not doing the laundry or just being lazy. One night, you finally had enough and started yelling back.

It ended up with Luke shattering and breaking a lot of things before walking out with a loud slam. You didn’t know what to do, was Luke going to come back?

Before you know it, you hear sniffling from outside the door and you find your daughter crying. “Baby, are you okay?” You asked her, lifting her up into your arms.

“I-Is daddy going to come home?” She asks you as tears silently slide down her cheeks. You were lost for words. Honestly, you didn’t know yourself if Luke was coming back.

“I want daddy to come home,” She starts after you don’t reply,“I’m scared mammy. What if daddy never comes home again?” Without even realising, two arms pulled you and your daughter into someones’ chest who you instantly knew was Luke.

“I’ll always come back home, love,” Luke whispers, kissing your daughters’ forehead before looking at you. “I’m sorry, [Name]. I’ve been so stressed out and annoyed because we had to keep re-record things because we kept messing up and I took it all on you”

You sigh,“It’s okay, Luke” “So are mammy and daddy not going to fight again?” Your daughter asks,“I don’t like it when you fight” “I’ll never start a fight with mammy again,” Luke assures your daughter.

“Promise?” Your daughter holds out her pinky finger and Luke takes it into his own,“I promise”

Ashton: 

Lately, you and Ashton have been at each others’ throats. You wouldn’t even remember who started it and how it started. Your elder son, Daniel would always sleep with your daughter, Isabella and make sure she didn’t hear you two fighting.

He didn’t like the two of you fighting all the time and it always made his little sister cry. Although one night when Daniel was reading a story to Isabella, you and Ashton started to fight again. This time even louder. As she hears Ashton roaring at you, she starts to cry again.

Hearing glass shattering, your son decides that enough is enough and he storms angrily down the stairs to see you with your hands bloody from picking up broken fragments and Ashton storming past Daniel.

“Mam, are you okay?” Your son asked. You nodded, throwing the pieces of glass into the bin, wincing as one dug into you.

“Mam, dad,” Daniel sighs and both of you turn to look at your son,“I’m tired of the two of you fighting every single night. It makes Izzy scared and start to cry whenever you two fight”

The two of you are silent as your son continues,“ I just want us to be a happy family again. I don’t want you guys to have a divorce or anything either”

“I’m sorry [Name], Danny. I don’t know why I even started the fight,” Ashton sighed, running a hand through his hair. “No, it was my fault,” You shook your head.

“I don’t really care who started it, I just don’t want you guys fighting again,” Daniel shrugged as you hugged him. “Don’t worry Danny we won’t. Now let me wash my hands before we go up to Izzys’ room”

As soon as you finished rinsing the blood from your hands, the three of you went up to Isabellas’ room. “Honey? Can we come in?” You knock on the door, receiving a small ‘yes’.

As soon as she said yes, you rushed into her room and hugged her tightly. “Oh, Isabella, I’m so sorry for scaring you. I promise you, I won’t ever fight with daddy again,” You promise as Ashton joins the hug.

“Really?” She asked as the pair of you nod,“Yay! We can be a happy family again! Come on Danny! Join the hug!”
