5SOS Preference #81 - Back in his arms [Part 4 of; He breaks up with you for his ex-girlfriend] [Cashton/4]

Calum: 

You sighed, looking away from him before looking back. “I don’t know Calum. How will I know that you’re not just going to say that again? I’m not your toy”

“I know you’re not,” Calums’ hand squeezed yours gently. “I don’t know if I can give you another chance though,” You whispered and Calum frowned.

“I-I understand. I just want you to know that I’m really sorry, I really am. I was so stupid for breaking up with you for someone I didn’t love at all. I’m sorry I hurt you. I knew I wouldn’t get a second chance but I had to try,” Calum sighed, looking down.

You could tell he was genuinely upset at your words. “I’ll leave you alone.. I’m sorry for wasting your time [Name]. I’ll always love you,” Calum told you before walking away.

He didn’t get very far, though because you grabbed his hand and pulled him to a stop. Calum turned around to ask you what you were doing but before he could say a word, you smashed your lips onto his.

You felt him kiss back and after a few seconds, you broke the kiss. “One more chance, Hood. Just one more chance,” You tell him, your arms wrapped around his neck as he pulled you into a hug.

“Thank you for giving me another chance [Name], I promise it won’t be a mistake,” Calum smiled. “It better not be, I don’t think I can handle the heartbreak again,” You tell him, resting your head on his chest.

He kisses your head lightly,“You won’t ever feel heartbreak again”

Ashton: 

You looked at your friend and she nodded,“I’ll leave you two alone to talk. I’ll be in Forever 21” You nodded at her and watched as she walked away, leaving you and Ashton by yourselves. 

“You hurt me a lot,” You told him and he nodded, his eyes showing regret. “I know and I don’t deserve you but I don’t want you to be out of my life”

“And just when I was trying to get over you, you just happen to come back into my life. You’re a proper dick, you know that?” You ask him.

“I know I’m a proper dick. It was a stupid move for breaking up with you,” He replies,“But I will make it up to you if you decide to give me another chance”

“I don’t think I can stop loving you Ashton,” You tell him. “Then don’t,” Ashton whispered as he leaned in to kiss you.

As he tried to kiss you, you moved your head away. “But, how can I know that you won’t hurt me this time?” You whispered, looking into his eyes.

“I..don’t know. I guess you’ll just have to take the risk but I swear to you that you won’t get hurt this time or ever again,” Ashton promised. 

“Okay,” You whispered,“But this is it. This is your last chance. If you hurt me again then I’m gone for good” “You won’t regret it baby,” Ashton murmured before his lips collided with yours.
